The Lakeland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is proud to present the following mentorship programs for Polk County youth: 

• The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy program aims to empower and support young ladies ages 11-14 to ensure a bright future. Questions? email the Academy Chair at lacdstacademy@gmail.com.
• The Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta G.E.M.S. program seeks to help African American girls grade 9-12 sharpen and enhance skills to achieve high levels of academic success; assist in proper goal setting and planning for the future. Questions? email the GEMS Chair at lacgems2020@gmail.com.
• The E.M.B.O.D.I. (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) program is designed to refocus the efforts of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, with the support and action of other major organizations, on the plight of African-American males.
