Investing in Our Youth. Empowering Our Future.

The Lakeland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to invest in the next generation of confident, compassionate, and successful young women and men through three nationally recognized youth development programs.

Our programs are designed to inspire youth to dream big, lead boldly, and prepare for success in school, their communities, and beyond. Participants engage in interactive workshops, mentorship, leadership development, cultural enrichment, community service, college and career exploration, financial literacy, health and wellness activities, and lifelong relationships.

Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy (Ages 11–14)

The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy empowers middle school girls during one of the most important stages of their development. Through engaging activities and mentorship, participants build self-confidence, strengthen leadership skills, develop healthy decision-making habits, and prepare to become future leaders in their schools and communities.

Dr. Jean L. Noble Delta G.E.M.S. (Grades 9–12)

The Dr. Jean L. Noble Delta G.E.M.S. Program equips high school young women with the tools needed to excel academically, personally, and professionally.
