The Lakeland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is committed to recognizing and supporting exceptional students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a dedication to serving their communities. Through our scholarship program, we strive to invest in the next generation of changemakers by helping students pursue their educational goals and dreams.

Each year, based on the availability of public funds, the chapter may award a limited number of scholarships to academically meritorious students, including:

• Literacy Scholarship – Awarded to students who demonstrate a passion for literacy, learning, and educational achievement.
• Sharon Jones Delta Scholarship – Established to honor the legacy of Sharon Jones, this scholarship recognizes outstanding students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and service.
• EMBODI Scholarship – Designed to support young men who have demonstrated leadership, character, academic success, and a commitment to personal growth and community engagement through the EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) initiative.
